Information We Collect
When you use Fyndly, we collect information you provide directly (such as your email address if you create an account), and information collected automatically (such as pages visited, products clicked, and general usage patterns). We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to operate and improve Fyndly, send price drop notifications and flight watch alerts you have opted into, analyze usage to improve our deal scoring algorithm, send our weekly deals newsletter (if opted in), and comply with legal obligations.
Cookies and Analytics
Fyndly uses Netlify Analytics, which is server-side and does not use cookies or tracking scripts. We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any third-party advertising trackers. Your currency preference and session identifiers are stored in your browser's localStorage. Anonymous session identifiers may be used to track affiliate clicks for commission attribution.
Affiliate Link Tracking
When you click a deal or travel link on Fyndly, we record an anonymous click event that includes the product or route, platform, and referring page. For travel links, our Travelpayouts partner marker (551438) is embedded in flight links for commission attribution. No personally identifiable information is stored with click events.
Flight Watch Alerts
When you watch a flight route, we store your origin, destination, and last known price in our database linked to your account. We check prices daily and send you an email alert via Resend if the price drops by 5% or more. You can stop watching a route at any time from your account or by contacting us.
Email Communications
If you subscribe to our weekly deals newsletter or flight watch alerts, we store your email address and send communications via Resend from deals@fyndly.deals. Every email includes an unsubscribe link. You can unsubscribe at any time.
Currency Preferences
Your selected display currency is stored locally in your browser's localStorage. We use open.er-api.com to fetch live exchange rates. No personally identifiable information is sent to the exchange rate provider.
Third-Party Services
Fyndly integrates with the following third-party services: Supabase (database and authentication), Netlify (hosting), Resend (email), Travelpayouts (travel affiliate API), and Google AdSense (advertising). Each provider has their own privacy policy governing their use of data.
Data Storage
Your data is stored securely using Supabase (PostgreSQL), hosted on AWS infrastructure in the United States. We implement industry-standard security measures including row-level security on all database tables to protect your information.
Your Rights
You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us at hello@fyndly.deals. This includes your wishlist, flight watches, email subscription, and profile. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.
Children's Privacy
Fyndly is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email. Continued use of Fyndly after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
